THE Namibian High Commission in Zambia has thanked President Hakainde Hichilema for renaming the Kasama Road in Lusaka after that country’s late President Hage Geingob.
Deputy Namibian High Commissioner to Zambia Stanley Tsandib also thanked the President for renaming the Sadzu Road in Lusaka after Namibia’s founding president Sam Nujoma.
“As an embassy, we are very happy and grateful to His Excellency President Hakainde Hichilema and the Zambian nation for honouring our leaders with the renaming of the two streets. It will benefit future generations by knowing who our leaders were,” Mr Tsandib said in response to a Press query in Lusaka yesterday
