FIRST Lady Mutinta Hichilema says a bright shining light has left this world following the death of Copper Queens and Indeni Roses striker Norin Betani.
And the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has expressed sadness at the death of Betani while her club manager at Indeni Roses Elestina Phiri says her death has left a huge gap that cannot be filled.
In a Facebook Post yesterday, the First Lady said she learnt with deep sadness the death of Betani and consoled the family during this difficult time.
“With deep sadness we have learnt about the untimely passing of Norin Betani. Our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and the football fraternity. May God comfort and strengthen you during this difficult time. A bright shining light has gone out in this world. MHSRIP,” she wrote.
