THE United Party for National Development (UPND) has lashed out at former president Edgar Lungu for condemning the free education policy, saying he does not mean well for the country.
UPND deputy media director Cheelo Katambo said the UPND believed that every school going-child, especially the rural child should have unequalled access to education so that every citizen got a chance of being in class from pre-school to grade 12.
“Clearly Mr Lungu does not mean well for this country, and must therefore not be allowed anywhere near the instruments of political power either by himself or his associates,” he said.
