SOME prominent clergymen have told Emeritus Archbishop Telesphore Mpundu to stop using divisive political language, saying only the collective decision by the people of Zambia and not an individual such as himself can determine who presides over the nation.
Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) board chairperson Paul Mususu and Church of God Overseer Bishop John Mambo took a swipe at Bishop Mpundu in seperate interviews in Lusaka yesterday.
Bishop Mususu was reacting Bishop Mpundu who made outlandish statements insinuating that he will de-campaign President Hakainde Hichilema ahead of the 2026 elections.
