CLOSE to 1.5 million people have been vaccinated against cholera in the hotspot zones of Lusaka since the launch of the preventive measure last week, the Ministry of Health has said.
The oral cholera vaccination captured a total of 1, 454, 807 people representing a coverage of 90 per cent of the targeted population, with 46 per cent being males and 54 per cent being females.
