SEVEN more people have died of cholera in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number to 131 since the outbreak in January 2023.
Information obtained from the Zambia National Public Health Institute (ZNPHI) 24- hour report indicates that 228 new cholera cases were recorded bringing the cumulative number to 4390 since January and 3508 since October 2023 as of yesterday.
The number of cases recorded were from Lusaka, Chilanga, Luangwa, Chongwe, Vubwi, Mpulungu, Chadiza, Kapiri- Mposhi, Lumezi, Monze, Sinazongwe, Choma and Mumbwa
