THE Government has with immediate effect granted a waiver of penalties on all outstanding assessment payments to the Workers Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB).
Labour and Social Security Minister Brenda Tambataba announced that the waiver of penalties will run from January 1 to March 31, next year.
Ms Tambatamba said the waiver was aimed at helping companies to reinvest in their business and create more jobs.
She urged companies to take advantage of the period and be current with assessments under the fund.
