MORE than 130, 000 pupils out of 454, 000 who sat for Grade seven examinations failed to obtain a primary school certificate and will not be eligible for selection to Grade eight in 2024 representing a 30 per cent failure rate.
Education Minister Douglas Syakalima also announced at a Press briefing that Grade nine results showed that more than 156, 000 got full Grade nine certificates, more than 108, 000 obtained a statement of results while about 25, 000 failed the examination.
