Zambia has gained creditors’ confidence – Zulu

AN ECONOMIC expert has said the disbursement of the US$125 million from the World Bank and $187 from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is an indication of Zambia’s good economic policies.
Emmanuel Zulu notes that the country had been undertaking economic reforms that had satisfied the IMF as well as the World Bank hence the two consecutive disbursement.
Mr Zulu said this was proof that the country had gained the confidence of the bilateral creditors on the international market, an indication that the current economic reforms were aligned to the country’s economic objectives.
