MIXED emotions gripped the mining town of Chingola early yesterday after news slowly filtered in that one miner was plucked out alive and two bodies were recovered from one of the flooded collapsed tunnels at Sensele mine, five days after their ordeal began.
The miner, a 49 year old man identified as Mwanshe Kakoma was immediately rushed to Nchanga South Hospital where he was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
