THE Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) Plc has registered a US$200 million green bond with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the sidelines of the COP 28 Climate Summit in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
CEC managing director Owen Silavwe said the registration of the green bond was the first for Zambia’s capital markets and expected to attract more green finance in the country.
