THE National Health Insurance Management Authority (NHIMA) has in the last four years paid out K2.2 billion to hospitals and pharmacies across the country.
Speaking during a meeting with Labour and Social Security Minister Brenda Tambatamba in Livingstone yesterday, NHIMA quality assurance director Alex Lwando said K 1.7 billion was paid out to 396 public and private hospitals and pharmacies between January and December this year.
