PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema has appealed to the World Health Organisation to consider Zambia as a hub for manufacturing cholera vaccines for Africa.
President Hichilema, who is the Global Cholera Control Champion, implored other countries to support Zambia’s suggestion to be the base for the manufacture of the cholera vaccine.
President Hichilema said this when he officially opened the 2023 Third International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA 2023) in Lusaka yesterday.
