GOVERNMENT has resolved that it will meet Catholic Bishops to dialogue following a Pastoral Letter they issued on Friday last week and cautioned the public from making statements that demeaned both the Church and the Government.
Chief Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa said President Hakainde Hichilema was ready to meet the Catholic Bishops and that the Government would communicate the outcome of the meeting to the nation thereafter.
Mr Mweetwa, who is Information and Media Minister, warned citizens to desist from making comments on the Pastoral Letter that had a tendency to demean the Church and the Government as that would undermine the dialogue process.
Chibbabbuka and Judge Situmbeko Chocho that trial should be held in camera because certain information that would be produced in the matter would be prejudicial to the interest of the republic.
