GOVERNMENT has approved increased minimum wages for domestic and shop workers ranging between K1,300 and K4,600, effective January next year.
Labour and Social Security Minister Brenda Tambatamba said yesterday that the approved minimum wages and conditions of service were arrived at after extensive consultations with the tripartite consultative labour council and other stakeholders.
