Zambia’s refined copper export earnings decline

ZAMBIA’s export earnings from refined copper decreased to K10.8 billion in September from K11.7 billion recorded in August this year.
The K900 million reduction in exports earnings of refined copper represents 7.6 per cent.
Zambia Statistical Agency (ZAMSTAT) statistician general Mulenga Musepa said during a monthly bulletin that this was as a result of reduced copper volumes recorded last month.
