INTERNATIONAL Monetary Fund (IMF) managing director Kristalina Georgieva has described Zambia as a good investment environment, especially with its rich mineral endowments.
Ms Georgieva said Zambia was endowed with vast arable land for agriculture as well as a lot of mineral reserves that investors could exploit for their benefit while enhancing the country’s economic growth.
She said this in her concluding remarks during a panel discussion on reform priorities for tackling debt, at the just-ended IMF and World Bank Group (WBG) annual meetings in Morocco.
