IMF dished out $1tn since COVID-19 pandemic

THE International Monetary Fund (IMF) has so far injected $1 trillion in reserves and liquidity through lending to nearly 100 countries and Special Drawing Rights (SDR) allocation since the Covid-19 pandemic hit.
IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said with the help from the members of the fund, $100 billion had also been channeled to vulnerable countries.
