British American Tobacco pays over K187m in taxes

THE British American Tobacco (BAT) Zambia has paid K187.8 million in taxes to the Government in the half year ended June this year.
The company has paid the taxes in form of excise duty, Value Added Tax (VAT), Pay As You Earn (PAYE), withholding tax, customs duty and corporate tax .
