PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema yesterday met a delegation from African Parks led by chief executive officer Peter Fearnhead, where he discussed conservation interventions in Liuwa Plains National Park, Bangweulu Wetlands and Kafue National Park.
Mr Hichilema commended Africa Parks for utilising technology in its conservation initiatives including in the control room installed at Kafue National Park, which monitors wildlife movements across the park in real time and addresses security concerns like wild fires and encroachments.
