THE National Association for Smallholder Farmers (NASF) has said the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) in its current form is abetting corruption in input distribution.
NASF chairperson Frank Kayula said in an interview that while the Government’s intention of the programme was good, targeted beneficiaries were marginalised in the process.
Dr Kayula said the people who hugely benefited were public figures holding office and those officers in the supply chain.
