FORMER Presidential Press aide Amos Chanda has been arrested by the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) for allegedly stealing a court record and destroying evidence in a matter he is a co-accused person.
Mr Chanda, 50, of house number 67 Elm Road, Woodlands in Lusaka, jointly and whilst acting together with other people between May 12, 2020 and October 1, 2022, in Lusaka stole the court record in which he was the third accused person with Intelligent Mobility Solutions board chairperson Walid El Nahas and former Road Transport and Safety Agency director and chief executive officer Zindaba Soko, in which matter then Director of Public Prosecutions Lillian Siyunyi entered a Nolle Prosequi on May 12, 2020.
