Kascol to set up $10m sugar plantation

A local firm intends to set up a sugar plantation at a cost of US$10 million in Mazabuka District, Southern Province.
Kaleya Smallholder Company Limited (KASCOL) will start investing on the 2,164 hectares earmarked to start by the end of this year.
KASCOL stated that it intends to implement the sub surface drip irrigation project for sugar production.
