Zambia capable of becoming digital economy – Fibrecom

FIBRECOM Limited, a subsidiary of Zesco Limited, says the company’s widespread fibre network is capable of making Zambia a digital economy.
Chief information technology officer Kelvin Haule said the technology company has more than 12,000 kilometres of fibre network to support effective internet connectivity of up to 100th generation (100G).
Mr Haule said in an interview in Lusaka recently that as the country plans a 24 hour economy, enhanced digital connectivity would be key.
