THE Jesuit Centre for Theological Reflection (JCTR) monthly Basic Needs Nutrition Basket (BNNB) has decreased by nearly K90 in April, 2022 to K9, 326 from K9, 411 in March.
The BNNB, which measures the cost of living for a family of five in Lusaka, has decreased by K85.15.
JCTR social and economic development programmes manager Chama Mundia said in a statement, that the total food cost decreased by a larger margin in comparison to the non-food cost while food costs stood at K3, 659 from K3, 738 in March 2022, indicating a K78.85 decrease.
