TRAFFIC has become a nuisance in Lusaka and if nothing is done about it we will end up in a big crisis.
At least for a start, the council can grade the land next to all the main roads or next to every road where there is land to allow passage or create more filter lanes.
Big vehicles and the trucks can use those roads whilst the smaller cars can use the tarred roads.
This can be done on Burma, Makishi, Chilumbulu and Thornpark roads as we wait for the expansion programme to take off.
This will really help to decongest at an economical cost. Something needs to be done to save our economy.
They say time is money and most of our time is being spent on the road thus slowing our economic growth.
