GLENCORE has recorded marketing revenues of $182 billion, up 46 per cent year-on-year, the latest preliminary financial statement indicates. In the 2021 period, marketing adjusted Earnings, Before Interest, and Taxes (EBIT) was $3.7 billion, increased by 11 per cent. “Energy adjusted EBIT was $1.4 billion indicating a -21 per cent , as a strong 2021 coal result limited the net overall reduction, given oil’s lower contribution relative to the prior year, wherein it capitalised on the exceptional market conditions,” it stated.
