AROUND 27,000 farmers in the 10 districts of the Copperbelt have been affected by an armyworm invasion across about 14,000 hectares of maize fields.
Provincial Agriculture Coordinator (PACO) Obvious Kabinda confirmed the development yesterday, with 10,000 litres of pesticide being received from the Government to protect crops and eradicate the pests.
