I COMMEND Government for the directive that couples working from different stations be re-united.
This is good because living part from each other can be detrimental to the marriage.
It is better that couples live together than be separated.
Staying away from your spouse for months and years cannot build the marriage in this generation.
It used to work for our grandparents in the past when they would go to South Africa for years working as house helps for white people.
But even my late grandmother used to narrate how certain wives would be ‘taken care of’ by their husband’s young brothers.
We are but human beings.
That is reality.
All couples who were affected by work distance must quickly take advantage of this and apply to be re-united with their spouses.
Personally, I think Government must make it mandatory that such couples re-unite because other couples may resist this and never apply for re-union.
I urge all couples to apply for re-union so that they serve their marriages from being negatively affected.
