$2.2bn dangled for health sector

HEALTH sector cooperating partners have pledged more than $2.2 billion to Zambia for 2022-23 period.
The support, which includes the 2021 funding, has been earmarked for 136 projects in healthcare such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis (TB), maternal and child health, COVID-19, nutrition, adolescent health water and sanitationas well as critical medical supplies. This came to light yesterday during the virtual Annual General Meeting (ACM) between Health Minister Sylvia Masebo and cooperating partners.
