15 firms get €11m to grow agro value chains

ENTERPRISE Zambia Challenge Fund (EZCF) has granted 10.9 million Euros to 15 companies to strengthen agricultural value chains in the country.
The €10.9 million represents 52 per cent of the financial support, while the 15 companies represent 38 per cent of the target to be managed by Self Help Africa and Imani Development.
The project seeks to integrate 150,000 small scale farmers and producers into value chains and further help them transition to greener and more sustainable agri- food systems as well as create over 8000 jobs in the sector by 2025.
