‘Zambia losing out on Kalambo Falls revenue’

THE National Heritage Conservation Commission (NHCC) says Zambia is losing out in revenue because local and foreign tourists prefer viewing the Kalambo Falls from the Tanzanian side. The Kalambo falls is on the boundary of Zambia and Tanzania about 33 kilometres from Mbala town in Northern Province.
NHCC Kalambo Falls assistant conservation officer Christian Chishimba told journalists on a tour of the Northern Circuit that tourists were by-passing Zambia to view the Kalambo Falls from the Tazanian side.
