GOVERNMENT has released K100 million for the fight against Foot and Mouth Disease that has broken out in nine provinces and affected 2.2 million animals.
Fisheries and Livestock Minister Makozo Chikote told Parliament yesterday that the country had been hit by thehighly-contagious Foot and Mouth disease, which affects cattle, sheep, goats, as well as buffalo and impala, among wild game.
