CORRUPTION is one vice that has caused a lot of problems in this country. It is one vice that has slowed down development from taking place.
I understand there are people out there who think they are tired of talking or hearing about corruption. But the only way to stop corruption is to talk about it.
And I’m not talking about washing anyone’s face with it. I mean addressing corruption when you see it in public.
I mean, speaking to your kids about honesty and hard work. Remember, no one is born knowing how to be corrupt. It is something that is taught and passed down from generation to generation.
I feel there is an entire conversation on corruption that is missing in this country and when we choose not to talk about it, we sweep it under the rug and jeopardise the lives of future generations.
This great nation belongs to all of us. It is a unique relationship and in a healthy relationship, issues get talked about.
Like in a relationship we have to discuss the issue in order to resolve it. Ignoring the problem won’t make it disappear; it will only make it worse.
If only everyone understood the importance of talking about corruption, this country wouldn’t be where it is right now.
Let’s talk about corruption. This scourge must be fought head on and it must be defeated and turned down at every opportunity.
