I WOULD like to join fellow Zambians in sending messages of condolence and good health to the families of the departed that perished in the Mazabuka road accident and the injured ones respectively. I am saddened because the situation is becoming unbearable and it is high time that we all rose to help to arrest the state of affairs.
The Road Transport and Safety Agency and Zambia Police Traffic Division are trying their best to prevent such accidents.
However, every road user being motorists, pedestrians, cyclists or rider to play their part to avoid accidents.
It is painful to lose a sister or brother in a road traffic accident. There is need to do random inspections on most of this passenger buses than waiting for the permit to expire.
Many people die on road accidents involving passenger buses due to overloading, therefore, commuters should play a role to avoid overloading.
