THE cumulative number of people currently suffering from Coronavirus (COVID-19) has reduced from 22,867 on June 24 to 15,681 cases by yesterday, the ministry of Health has said.
Similarly, the number of daily admissions to hospitals has reduced from 259 on June, 22 to 160 posted yesterday.
Health Permanent Secretary for Technical Services Kennedy Malama said in yesterday’s COVID-19 update that the overall positivity,however, remained high at more than 20 per cent against the five-per cent recommended level, to indicate reduced community transmission.
