Workers Compensation stakes K2m for Kawambwa plantation

THE Workers Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB) has set aside K2 million for the development of a plantation in Kawambwa District. Commissioner and chief executive officer Priscilla Bwembya said the board had acquired 500 hectares of land to plant pine and eucalyptus in Kawambwa District of Luapula Province. Ms Bwembya said the plantation was the new class of investment in WCFCB portfolio that would not only promote economic growth but combat climate change.
