Local tourists call for development of infrastructure at Lumangwe Falls

LOCAL tourists have called for the development of supporting infrastructure at the Lumangwe water falls in Kawambwa District, Luapula Province. The Lumangwe Falls which is said to be a smaller version of the Victoria Falls is 35 metres high and 100 metres across the Kalungwishi River. Some tourists spoken to at the site said the falls would attract more people if supporting infrastructure was developed around the area.
