Copper price drops

COPPER on the London Metal Exchange (LME) has dropped by 1.4 per cent to its lowest since April 14, 2021 of US$9,021 a tonne.
This followed an 8.6 per cent decrease last week; the biggest weekly fall since March 2020.
According to Reuters, copper prices dropped to their lowest level in nearly 10 weeks yesterday, as the United States (US) Dollar strengthened amid prospects of sooner-than-expected US policy tightening.
