COPPER prices rose by 1.98 per cent to $9,3511 a tonne on Monday due to increased demand as the United States (US) Dollar fell, according to Mining.com.
It stated that copper for delivery in May was up 1.98 per cent in the afternoon trade, with futures at $9, 3511 a tonne on the Comex market in New York, nearing February’s peak of $9,617, the highest since 2011.
