THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) has paid about K3 billion as refunds under the Value Added Tax (VAT) in the first quarter of this year, with the largest portion going to the mining industry.
ZRA commissioner general Kingsley Chanda, said the Authority was committed to paying all VAT refunds, and on average, every month claims amounting to K850 million were paid.
