DISASTERS are overwhelming the Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit (DMMU) with costly repairs, Vice-President Inonge Wina has said, warning that the onset of the rainy season is already creating anxiety at the department.
Ms Wina said yesterday that her office was overwhelmed with reports of damaged roads, bridges, houses, schools and health centres.
