AFTER an incident-free 48 hours in the coronavirus count, four cases of COVID -19 were reported yesterday, taking the national total to 88.
One case was brought to light in a patient who had visited the dental clinic at the University Teaching Hospital in Lusaka with tooth-ache.
Health Minister Chitalu Chilufya said the case was one of three recorded in Lusaka, which so far, accounts for the bulk of the numbers, while the fourth one was detected at the Tropical Diseases Research Centre (TDRC) in Ndola.
Dr Chilufya told a Press briefing in Lusaka yesterday that the results were from a battery of 378 tests conducted on Saturday.
