PROMINENT Lusaka business executive Suzyo Nyika has commended the Times of Zambia for introducing an Education Revision Corner mainly in Science, Mathematics and English in its daily publication.
Mr Nyika said the initiative taken by the paper was one of the best for the entire country as education was a pillar to any country’s economic growth.
He said day by day the Times of Zambia was proving to be one of Zambia’s huge assets through the provision of credible information, deeper education and entertainment even abroad.
“Education corner is the best you have done for our children, and I would like to personally commend management and staff at Times of Zambia for providing professionalism in information dissemination,” he said.
Mr Nyika who was recently in the United Kingdom said he and many Zambia’s in the Diaspora were kept informed of what was going on back home through the electronic version of the Times of Zambia (e-times).
Mr Nyika who is also Collum Coal Board chairperson also commended management and workers for working hard to ensure the company remained afloat.
And former Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation (ZNBC) Director General Chibamba Kanyama said the Times of Zambia was a historical paper that had proved to be business friendly.
“From time imemorial, Times of Zambia has always been a friend to all serious businessmen and women apart from it giving the general public credible information,” he said.
He said over the time, the paper had produced content that was cardinal to the business community and had continued to do so even in other sectors like health and education.
