By NDINAWE SIMPELWE –
DISPLACED Power Dynamos today have a chance to reclaim top position when Red Arrows comes calling in an MTN-FAZ Super Division Week-Seven fixture knowing leaders Green Buffaloes will not play until tomorrow.

In Chingola, Kitwe United will look to continue with their impressive start to the season at an inconsistent Nchanga Rangers and then both hosts Buildcon and visitors New Monze Swallows go at each other searching for a first win of the season.
Power v Arrows
DESPITE losing to Zesco last week, Power coach Kelvin Kaindu declared that his side was ready to rival both the Ndola giants Zesco United and Zanaco to the league title.
On the other hand, it is not going according to script for red Arrows who have tasked to win the league this year- he has an unenviable record so far of two wins, and just as many draws and losses.
Adding spice to the soup, both sides will take this game as chance for redemption after dropping points last week though more pressure will be on Arrows who are languishing in 10th position with eight points.
Kaindu has built his team through the midfield where the trio of Kelvin Kampmba, Larry Bwalya and Benson Sakala has been the driving force.
Kaindu however, will need to find a solution on the misfiring forwards of Alex Ng’onga and Jimmy Ndhlovu.
Rangers v Kitwe Utd
KITWE United are having a dream-start to the season after their return to the top flight and will look to continue with the fight of breaking into the top four as they visit Nchanga Rangers.
Kitwe’s sixth position after six matches is a clear sign that the relegation scrap-fight will not be their portion while Rangers, having survived the drop in the last two seasons by the skin of their teeth, will have a lot to work on.
Coach Stephen Mwansa has assembled a team that is difficult to beat with captain Moses Lolozi as their inspirationw with Victor Kashitu and Austin Muwowo the other players to look out for in this Kitwe side that is trying to defy the odds.
Rangers have only managed one win from six matches and are lying on 15th position, three points above bottom placed New Monze Swallows.
Buildcon v Swallows
THIS fixture will see two teams that are yet to pick a victory this season and are both desperate to improve their fortunes.
While it is forgivable for newly promoted Swallows to fail to pick a win in their first six matches, the same cannot be said about Buildcon who assembled a strong looking side in their second year in the top tier.
With the likes of Chisamba Lungu, Brian Mwila, Given Singuluma, John Makwata and many other high-profile players, Buildcon has no excuse for not being in the top-four at this stage.
Swallows know fighting relegation will be the order of the season and they will always play under pressure but a first win of the season may change their belief for the better.
Nkwazi v Nakambala
NKWAZI parted ways with coach Albert Mphande earlier this week after one win and four draws in six matches which left the team in 12th position. But they have lost just once.
Mphande was replaced by Chris Kaunda whose immediate task is to transform the team into a title challenging one.
Kaunda’s first challenge will be the visit of Nakambala Leopards coached by one of the respected coaches in the country, Patrick Phiri.
Phiri believes Nakambala can win the league and after beating Arrows last week, they will face Nkwazi with confidence knowing a win can push them closer to the top.
But Kaunda knows he needs to make an immediate impact and will not make it easy for the visitors.
Assembly v Napsa
NAPSA Stars pressed the panic button last week by partying ways with coach Linos Makwaza after four straight defeats to replace him with Elijah Chikwanda who started his reign with a 2-2 draw against Buildcon.
Chikwanda will believe this game against National Assembly is one to pick up the win.
Assembly’s undoing has been their inability to convert the scoring chances into goals despite dominating.
Coach Oswald Mutapa admitted he needs to find a solution the striking department if he is to lead his charges through the season.
Eagles v KYSA
NEWLY promoted Kabwe Youth Sports Academy (KYSA) is one of the four teams yet to pick a win this season as it is becoming more difficult for this inexperienced side to cope with Super Division football demands.
Eagles have had an inconsistent season so far with only two wins from six matches and they will fancy their chances to pick their third victory today.
Coach Aggrey Chiyangi needs to build confidence in the team if he is to avoid the relegation battles.
AND tomorrow, Levy Mwanawasa Stadium will host a double-header with the early kick-off seeing Forest Rangers facing Kabwe Warriors while Zesco will take on Lumwana later and in Lusaka, league leaders Green Buffaloes guest Lusaka Dynamos.
The match between Nkana and Zanaco has been postponed to a date to be announced.
