HIGHER Education Minister Nkandu Luo has challenged scientists and researchers in the Southern African Development Community region to simplify and make public their findings and solutions to climate change.
Professor Luo said also that President Edgar Lungu was taking the fight against climate change to another level as he is this month expected to launch a massive tree planting exercise in Muchinga Province.
Prof Luo said that efforts to tackle climate change effects would not derive the desired results if scientists and researchers kept their findings and solution
Prof Luo said this when she officially opened the first ever Southern African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management (SASSCAL) Science Symposium in Lusaka yesterday.
