CATHOLIC Diocese of Solwezi Bishop Charles Kasonde says Zambia is not in a crisis to require foreign assistance in the political party dialogue process.
Speaking in Solwezi when North-Western Province Minister Nathaniel Mubukwanu called on him, Bishop Kasonde said the prevailing situation can be handled by Zambians.
Bishop Kasonde said there was need for people to have confidence in the country’s governance institutions.
Bishop Kasonde said it was everybody’s prayer that the dialogue process took place and that all differences that arose in the aftermath of the 2016 general elections were resolved.
Mr Mubukwanu said the Government was committed to continue delivering development across the country.
He said the dialogue process should be embraced by all stakeholders without reservation as it was a necessary process in building the country’s democratic credentials. – ZNBC/ZANIS.
