THE Traditional Healers and Practitioners Association of Zambia (THPAZ) has described as inhuman the exhuming of an albino’s corpse in Kalabo by suspected ritual people.
The suspects stole the corpse which was buried in 2016.
THPAZ president Rodwell Vongo said his organisation did not condone the killing of albinos.
Dr Vongo said in an interview that human beings were created in the image of God and no one had the right to kill a fellow being.
He said Zambia was a Christian nation and that such actions should not be tolerated adding that people who were involved in such vices were doing it for the love of money.
“As an association we do not allow killing of one another. The actions taken by the suspected ritual murderers are inhuman. Zambia is a Christian nation and we do not allow such,” he said.
He said members of his association were not allowed to kill people, but merely provide healing of ailments.
